LifeCenter Plus is a family-focused health and fitness club with an older adult emphasis that has been serving the Hudson and Stow communities since 1976. With our staff of 187 well-trained personnel, we serve an average of 1,200 members per day. Known in the industry for our creative programming, we offer 180+ diverse classes per week, travel services, childcare, rehabilitation programs, personal fitness trainers, and much more. Sandy was the Program Director and part-owner of the West Allis Racquetball Club outside of Milwaukee for 11 years, developing the largest racquetball program in the country. Sandy now consults worldwide and does extensive work in marketing and training for the mature adult population. She is a very popular featured international speaker and was recognized by The European Bodylife Conference as "Educator of the Year" for her training in mature adult programming. She also provides continuing education credits for ACE, AFAA and the Senior Fitness Association, is an Industry Board Member on the International Council on Active Aging, and has been a contributing writer for many trade publications. As President of Programming For Profit and a partner in Retention Works, a U.S. consulting firm, her client list includes Marriott Hotels, UK; Texins Association of Dallas, Texas; and several clubs and corporations in Canada.
Kathryn Kilpatrick, M.A. CCC/SLP
Kathryn is a geriatric communication consultant with over 30 years of experience working with older adults in their homes as a speech and language pathologist. She is a national speaker, trainer and the author of more than 30 products that enhance the quality of life of the older adult and support their family, friends and caregivers.
Kathryn initiated a pilot project in 2003 to develop a health record in the home. The importance of more extensive information that would be helpful to first responders in the case of an emergency led to the VITAL HEALTH RECORDS program.
